CITY SANITATION PLANNING IN TIKAPUR

Client: Eawag-Sandec, Switzerland in collaboration with the Third Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project, DWSS

Location: Tikapur Municipality, Kailali.

500B Solutions played a key role in validating and implementing the City Sanitation Plan (CSP) planning process in Tikapur. The project was launched by engaging stakeholders and establishing the planning framework. Baseline design was developed to conduct a GIS-based sample survey to assess existing sanitation conditions. Based on the findings, suitable sanitation systems and service options were identified. The planning process concluded with the finalization of a comprehensive city sanitation improvement plan.
