City-Wide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) Planning
City-wide inclusive sanitation (CWIS) is our core approach to promote integrated, equitable, and sustainable sanitation facilities that serve all including those in informal settlements and marginalized communities. We develop sanitation plan considering local needs and priorities by adopting data driven strategies, stakeholder engagement, public engagement and system-wide thinking to guide cities toward achieving SDG 6.2.
Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) & Non-Sewered Sanitation
In places without centralized sewer systems, we offer comprehensive solutions for safe and sustainable faecal sludge management. We support local service providers and government bodies in establishing scalable FSM service chains. We implement context specific technologies, inclusive service models, developing treatment facilities, evaluating business models, and enhancing capacity building.
Solid Waste Management & Circular Economy
We offer solid waste management solutions tailored for households, institutions, and municipalities. Our strategy is based on the 3R principle: reduce, reuse and recycle aligns with circular economy goals by treating waste as a resource rather than a burden. To create efficient solutions for the whole waste management service chain, we carry out in-depth analyses of trash volume, content, and sources.
Water and Environmental Sanitation for Mountains
We are expanding our collections of initiatives and collaborations aiming to support mountain communities to secure reliable and safely managed WASH services. We plan to engage ourselves using municipality-wide WASH planning as a strategic entry point. Our approach is focused on locally appropriate, resilient and inclusive solutions that address the unique geographic and socio-economic challenges of high-altitudes.
Climate Resilient Water and Environmental Sanitation
We incorporate climate resilient into Water and Environmental Sanitation systems by identifying vulnerabilities and creating adaptive, sustainable interventions. Our work focuses on risk-informed planning, resilient infrastructure, and behavioral change to maintain service-continuity during climate-induced disruptions. We develop strong systems that can endure climate change impacts while safeguarding public health.
Policy, Governance & Institutional Support
We strengthen service systems through policy formulation, regulatory assistance and institutional capacity development. Our efforts involve drafting sanitation by-laws, performing SWOT and competency gap evaluations, and promoting governance frameworks that include multiple stakeholders. We align national and local governments for the establishment of sustainable WASH service delivery.
Research, Innovation & Knowledge Products
We apply research, field validation studies, and development of evidence-based knowledge products for future advancement. Our team contributes to policy papers, synthesis reports, training materials, and academic publications. By bridging practice with innovation, we ensure that our solutions remain context-sensitive, forward-looking, and grounded in both field insights and emerging global trends.
